We got reservations for around 10 people the same day we were planning to visit. They called to confirm what kind of seating do we prefer. Parking in the area might be an issue. The place itself is very big, has pool table, small dance floor and good music. After 9, the place turns into a crowded bar with people dancing on the dance floor. Food and alcohol menu are limited but good food and drinks altogether. Definitely a place to go and chill with group of friends.
My friends and I were denied service by the bartender because he accused us of having fake IDs. The median age of our group was 24. All of our IDs were real. The bartender went and got another bartender asking if either of them knew how to use the “black box” used to verify IDs, which we would have been willing to do because our IDs were real. Neither knew how to use it, so we were denied service. No request for other forms, no further discussion, just denial of service and accusations that he “knew some of these IDs were fake.” The first bartender kept assuring us he would not confiscate our IDs and we affirmed that yes, of course he wouldn’t because they’re real IDs which we need. The bartender also informed us there was another bar that “would take” us. Very disappointed!!

Came here for drinks on a Saturday night. Service was horrible and it wasn’t even at full capacity yet. One of the servers said we should go to the bar to get drinks if we wanted better service. Didn’t make sense at all!

The bigger blonde and bigger Hispanic woman were the most unprofessional people I’ve ever witnessed in my life. Been in the service industry for 10 years. Insanely rude and both should be fired.
We are traveling from out of state. Bar tender said something to us but we couldn't hear. We told her we didn't know what we wanted to order yet. She widened her eyes and rolled them at us. We left and took our business elsewhere. Very rude.
My school has hosted here but I’ve never gone so I decided to check it out tonight because it looked quiet. It was quiet which was nice, it’s a Monday so that’s to be expected. It’s very nice inside, and decorated very nicely for Christmas. Hostess was nice and I sat at the bar and bartender was good too. I got the fried chicken sandwich, it was okay, it didn’t have much flavor and was hard to eat as a sandwich, but it was quite a big portion. Would love to go back again and try something different as they did have a lot of things on the menu that looked really good.
We recently hosted a team dinner here at scholars and were very impressed by both the service and food. The entire team enjoyed their drinks and the ability to choose from their menu. Our servers were very attentive to our large 20 person party and I will definitely be bringing the team back when we schedule another outing. Flank stank was great especially paired with a. Old fashioned.
